The classicist Art Nouveau-style building was originally the seat of the State Real Gymnasium and later a secondary school, which then became the Přípotoční grammar school. Since 1961, the Karel Čapek Primary School has been located there. In addition to compulsory education, the school offers a number of elective subjects and optional activities as well as hobby groups. The school is involved in national and European projects.
