It was built in the years 1930–1933 in the sloping terrain of the then Vršovice centre. In addition to three gyms, changing rooms and showers, clubrooms and utility rooms, it originally housed a music hall and guest rooms (the so-called Sokol Home). On the first floor there was a cafe with terraces. Multiple stairs allow access through different entrances. Since 1990, the Sokol Praha Vršovice sports club has been running its activities there again.
