The workers at the waffle factory have been living to the rhythm of the machines for years, with everything running routinely, waffles arriving on a belt, and women packing them in boxes … Until one day an intruder appears! Arka Narovski – a tall, charismatic and mysterious man, who can easily enchant the crowd and raise feelings of dissatisfaction. The atmosphere in the factory suddenly begins to grow tense, the old regime starts to crumble, and the waffles stay in the oven. A timeless novel about how easy it is to mislead the masses, but also about people´s desire to be misled.
