BOOK

In 1940, young Juliet Armstrong was recruited into the world of espionage and tasked with monitoring the activities of British Fascist sympathizers. She is not enthusiastic about that, often finds the work tiring, and even feels fearful of it. When the war is over, she is relieved to find this chapter of her life closed. Ten years later, when she works as a BBC producer and her work is stable but surprisingly boring, she is unexpectedly confronted by figures from her past. It is a different war now, in a different field, but Juliet is in danger again. She must be held accountable and finally begins to realize that no action is without consequences.
